Pinalagan ng film actor, model at digital creator na si Lharby Policarpio ang malisyusong tweet ng isang netizen kung saan ipinagpapalagay nitong ang nararanasang marangyang lifestyle ay dahil sa kaniya umanong “sugar daddy.”
Aniya, dapat na matigil ang “toxic Filipino trait” na ito.
Kalakip ng mahabang pahayag sa isang Facebook post, Martes, pinabulaanan at sabay-sabay na kinondena ni Lharby ang malisyusong pahayag.
“Sorry fam I just had to do it and speak up! The more hinahayaan mo these stupid and close minded people nagiging abuso at nagiging tama sa mga taong nakakabasa lalo na yung mga hindi nagreresearch ng tama.
“Honestly, this is petty, stupid, and just straight up rude. If I allow this to continue some people may start to believe the lies you guys have been saying here. Especially people who love to get their news and sources from social media, people who don’t do proper research. l won’t stand for it,” pagsisimula ng aktor.
Sunod na ibinahagi ng aktor ang ilang oportunidad sa digital content industry.
“First of all. Lord! 2022 na po. Being a content creator is not a new job, it’s been existing for years now. If you look at my social media platforms, you’ll see the brands I’ve worked with in the past years. If only I can share with you how much we earn for each project para manahimik kayo. Kaya lang It’s confidential and something that does not concern you. ”
Bukod pa rito, bumida na rin sa ilang proyekto sa telebisyon at pelikula ang aktor. Magbabalik-big screen nga sa katunayan si Lharby sa Dis. 7 sa materyal na “Call Me Papi” kasama sina Enzo Pineda, Albie Casino, Royce Cabrera at Aaron Concepcion.
Sunod na ipinaliwanag ni Lharby ang kaniyang kamakailang overseas trip.
“It was my first time traveling to europe with friends! Dream ko yun! Anong sugar daddy pinagsasabi niyo? I even posted partnerships with 2 brands while I was in Lisbon, Portugal. Before we left, I also did a project big enough to finance my entire trip! Whenever I travel with my team (friends) it’s always 3-8mos of preparation so kasama na dun ang early booking of flights, hotels, itinerary, partnership with other brands and etc. So we have plenty of time to save up para when we go to the destination alam na namin ang gagawin namin from the expenses and/or alloted budget if mag-shopping.
“Sometimes, in between those months of preparation, may mga pumapasok na local and international projects so dumadami yung travel in a year. That’s how it works fam!” anang aktor.
Ipinunto rin nito na hindi niya obligasyong ipangalandakan ang mga proyekto sa publiko.
“I don’t have to show or share with anyone my other business endeavors, because in the first place, it’s NONE of your business! Even if I share most of my life in social media, just like every public figure, may personal life pa din kami. Bukod sa hindi ko kayo business partner, hindi ko din naman kayo relative or close friend. Judgemental lang talaga kayo to assume na wala akong source of income, nakakahiya naman sa inyo mas alam nyo pa buhay ko kesa sa akin,” pagpapatuloy niya.
“I feel sad for the people in your lives, to be friends with people like you who are not just insecure but also judgmental, it must be so hard and tiring for them. Kawawa ang friends and family nyo. If you treat strangers like this what more the people you guys ‘love’ assuming you people know what love means/is. Is it so hard to be simply happy for the people around you? Instead of being insecure and drag people down try nyo kaya magtrabaho? masaya kumita, try nyo minsan. Focus on your own lives and work hard. Magtrabaho kayo! It’s time for you to focus on your goal in life kaysa atupagin niyong magpuna ng buhay ng iba,” dagdag ng aktor.
“Walang mararating ang insecurities at inggit nyo sa mga taong nakikita nyo. Try growing and do your best sa buhay nyo so you guys can buy the things you like and travel to your dream destinations. Para di na kayo mainggit,” aniya pa.
Sa huli, hiling para sa mga taong nasa likod ng malisyusong chismis ang saad lang ni Lharby sa pagtatapos ng kaniyang post.
“I wish you people learn to have a good life, learn how to respect, and to have a successful career. I truly hope you all, your family, and your friends won’t encounter small-minded people like how you guys are and won’t experience the same disgust and disappointment I feel right now.”
Si Lharby ay dating Kapuso heartthrob na lumabas din sa GMA fantaserye na “Mulawin vs. Ravena” noong 2017.
Napanuod din ang aktor sa big screen hit at award-winning 2017 comedy-drama film “Bar Boys” ni Kip Oebanda.
