Nang hindi tanggapin ni lawyer George Briones ng Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) ang hamon ni Comelec Commissioner Rowena Guanzon para sa isang debate, tila hinahamon ulit ni Guanzon ang abogado.
Sa kanyang Twitter, hinamon ni Guanzon si Briones sa isang radio station na “Bombo Radyo” at sila raw ay magsuntukan sa Iloilo Plaza.
“Hinamon ko si Briones sa Radyo Bombo. Suntukan kami sa Iloilo Plaza. Mayor Trenas ang referee,” ani Guanzon.
“I have @MannyPacquiao boxing gloves hahaha!” dagdag pa niya.
Matatandaang nanawagan para sa disbarment at forfeiture ng retirement benefits at lifetime pension ni Guanzon ang general counsel ng political party ni presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., ang Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), para sa diumano’y napaaga at iligal na pagsisiwalat ng kanyang hindi paborableng boto laban kay Marcos Jr. sa kanyang disqualification petition.

Kaya’t nitong Enero 28, hinamon ni Guanzon si Briones sa isang debate sa telebisyon.
“I challenge George Briones of Partido Federal of BBM to a debate on TV. If he thinks he is brighter than me he should agree. they are diverting the issue. Ilabas na ni Comm Ferrolino ang Resolution. Ang talo mag Motion for Reconsideration,” ani Guanzon.
“I will unfriend George Briones in my FB. He is my Sigma Rho brod but he has no respect for his sister Deltan. Called me “incorrigible narcissist”,” aniya pa.
“George Briones of Partido Federal, didn’t you get paddled to make sure u remember to love and respect your sister Deltan? That’s me. Sumbong kita kay [email protected],” dagdag pa ng poll official.
Tinanggihan naman ito ni Briones dahil sa umano’y Code of Action ng kanilang Fraternity.
“Since Commissioner Rowena Guanzon disclosed that I am her Sigma Rho Fraternity brother. I respectfully decline her invitation to debate with her. For I firmly believe in our Code of Action which is ‘to give due respect if not love to a Sister Deltan’,” ayon kay Briones.
