“Toni Gonzaga interviewing Bongbong, too, to talk about ‘the greatest lesson’ he learned from his late kleptocrat dictator, hindi-bayani father isn’t about being neutral. This ‘talk’ is about adding insult to past human rights injuries.Use your platform wisely naman sana, Toni,” aniya.
Sa isa pang tweet niya, “Toni Gonzaga is a disappointment. If you will interview Bongbong, do not ask him about the greatest lesson he learned from his Dad. Ask him about the money his family stole from the country. Ask hard questions—or don’t interview at all. JUST DON’T BE A FENCE-SITTING SELLOUT.”
“It’s not rocket science to figure out that some voices just don’t deserve a platform to be heard at all — not even in the spirit of fairness. And this is something that privileged celebrities like Toni Gonzaga will never understand.”
“I thought you already have a character development but I guess I was wrong. Still a Marcos apologist ewww!!!”
“This isn’t about her giving a platform for different political parties to be neutral, lol. Inviting Bongbong Marcos to talk positively about his father is Toni Gonzaga actively participating in historical revisionism. Let’s not pretend otherwise.”
“Every opportunity that the media gives this man to talk about his father is an insult to the many lives that have been lost during the Marcos regime. Toni G, mukhang cancelled ka na.”
“Toni Gonzaga should know the quote by a bishop: ‘If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality.'”
“So let me get this straight. When Toni Gonzaga interviewed VP Leni, you applaud her. She interviewed Bongbong, and she’s not using her platform well? Say what now???”
“I don’t get why TONI GONZAGA is getting a lot of hate I mean… I don’t support BBM, and I’m NOT a DDS. Pero she’s just doing her job and She’s not even being bias about it.”
“Toni Gonzaga has interviewed different people with different personalities in her YTC. So as, different viewers/listeners have different reactions/impressions. How people react to every interview she had/will have is beyond her control. So, never ask Toni Gonzaga on what to do or not as she never asks you on how to react also on her content.”
“Toni Gonzaga is expert in the craft she is in. And she can interview anybody around whoever she wants. The problem there is how will you going to accept her sole right to decide on that matter.”
“I’ve reached a point in my life where I realized that other people’s perception of me is not my responsibility anymore. Na parang pag sinabi sa akin ng isang tao na one plus one equals 10, I’ll just tell that person yes you’re correct, you’re right. Para whatever judgement or assumption they have of me I feel like I don’t have anymore, the need to explain, to prove, to defend and to hide. Because I have nothing to hide, I have nothing to defend, I have nothing to prove, I have nothing to explain to anybody because I know who I am deep inside.”
