CAMP OSCAR FLORENDO, La Union – Nasa 132 Chinese ang inaresto sa magkakasabay na raid sa San Vicente, Ilocos Sur dahil sa pagkakasangkot umano sa telecommunications fraud kahapon.
Dinakip ng mga operatiba ng Ilocos Sur Police Provincial Office, Anti-Cyber Crime Group, Special Action Force (SAF), Bureau of Immigration (BI), at mga awtoridad mula sa China ang mga suspek mula sa compound ng isang Cherry Forges, sa loob ng bodega ng isang Jack Chan, at sa isang gusali sa Barangay Nagtupacan.
Ayon kay Senior Supt. Jovencio Badua, Jr., director ng Ilocos Sur Police Provincial Office, narekober sa mga suspek ang iba’t ibang uri ng telepono, router, desktop computer, laptop computer, SIM card, washing machine, generator, at mga dokumento.
Dinala sa Camp Crame ang mga suspek, na umano’y mga miyembro ng sindikatong nambibiktima ng mga Chinese.
