Kumubra si Teodoro ng 26 puntos, tampok ang walo sa final period para ilayo sa double digits na bentahe ang Heavy Bombers, 62-52, para makabawi sa kabiguan natamo sa kamay ng Lyceum Pirates sa kanilang opening match.
Natamo ng Perpetual Help ang ikalawang sunod na kabiguan matapos ma-forfeit ang laro kontra sa College of Saint Benilde sa opening day nitong Sabado. Nagsampa ng protesta ang pamunuan ng Perpetual sa naturang desisyon ng Mancom at ni Commissioner Bai Cristobal.

“It was a collective effort for everyone. It took them a few minutes just to be comfortable in the game and I was just waiting for them to be comfortable, have poise and be in control,” pahayag ni LSGH coach Marvin Bienvenida.
Nagpamalas din ng katatagan ang University of Perpetual Help System para maungusan ang Jose Rizal University via come-from-behind victory, 79-78.
