PINASALAMATAN ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) sa sakripisyong pagpapagamit ng sports facilities para magamit sa programa sa paglaban sa COVID-19 pandemic.

“We at DPWH has recognized your unwavering support for the conversion of the Ninoy Aquino Stadium and the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex facility as a designated quarantine facility for COVID-19 patients,” pahayag sa liham ni DPWH Undersecretary for UPMO Operations and Technical Services Emil Sadain.

Ang liham na may petsang Hulyo 5 ay nagpapahayag ng papuri sa pamunuan ng nasabing sports agency sa agarang pagtugon nito sa pag-alala sa kapakanan ng mga pasyente na positibo sa virus.

“The combined efforts of public and private entities have helped in the swift implementation of the national and local healthcare facilities as one of your urgent measures in addressing the current health crisis,” pahayag ni Sadain.

“We thank DPWH for trusting us and working with us. Rest assured that the PSC will always be supporting this fight against COVID-19 in ways we can,” sambit ni Fernandez.

Ipinahiram ng PSC ang tatlong malalaking sports facilities nito gaya ng Ninoy Aquino Stadium (NAS) at Rizal Memorial Coliseum (RMC) sa Manila, at Multi- Purpose Arena (MPA) sa PhilSports Complex pagputok pa lamang ng pandemya at ginawang “We Heal as One Centers”.
