NEW YORK— Inilabas ng National Basketball Association (NBA) at International Basketball Federation (FIBA) ang top 64 boys and girls mula sa 18 bansa at teritoryo na napili para makapaglaro sa 11th edition ng Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Asia.

Gaganapin ang BWB Asia 2019 sa Agosto 14-17 sa Tokyo, Japan.

Kabilang sa campers sina Jr. NBA 2017 All-Star Echo Laure, anak ni dating PBA star Eddie Laure, Jr. NBA All-Stars Harold Alarcon (2016), Florence Jil Talas (2016), FIBA 3×3 standout Kristine Cayabyab, at Batang Gilas forward Joshua Rafael Lazaro.

Kabilang sa mga NBA players na naging bahagi ng BWB ay sina three-time NBA Champion Sam Cassell, two-time NBA Champion Kevon Looney (Golden State Warriors), Robin Lopez (Milwaukee Bucks) at Yuta Tabuse (formerly of the Phoenix Suns; Japan).

Pangangasiwaan nina dating WNBA players Ashley Battle, Allison Feaster at Yolanda Moore ang camp at tatayong coach sa top high-school-age campers mula sa Asia-Pacific region.

Makikiisa sa coaching sina NBA assistant coaches Pat Delany (Orlando Magic), Bryan Gates (Minnesota Timberwolves), Antonio Lang (Cleveland Cavaliers) at Wes Unseld Jr. (Denver Nuggets). Sina Patrick Hunt (President of the World Association of Basketball Coaches; Australia) ang camp director, habang si Jeff Tanaka (Chicago Bulls) ang camp’s athletic trainer.
