“(What I want is) just a good showing,” pahayag ng dating PBA star. “I will be happy if we make the Final Four. But we’re on a rebuilding process. I have to admit, we’re not going to put on a good showing this year. I have to be frank.”

“I have more or less four holdovers from last season. I’m not expecting too much from them because it’s relatively a new team,” aniya.

“For now, I am hoping we can make it to the Final Four,” sambit ni Cardinals coach Atoy Co “But at this time, [we’re taking it] one game at a time.”

“If last year was about the post- Oraeme era, there will also be some significant changes this season. Top gunner Andoy Estrella is no longer with the team as well as standouts Leo Gabo and Almel Orquina. With the departure of those players who usually carried the offensive load for Mapua, it’ll be interesting to see how the team will adjust.”

“I hope that our veterans show up. I have a lot of new players that you can’t take for granted,” dagdag ni Co. “My principle is I won’t rely on anyone, I’ll rely on everyone.”
