“He has been showing up earlier to our kids and teens classes, to interact with them and instill values of loyalty, commitment and camaraderie,” pahayag sa sulat ni John Kavanagh, coach ni McGregor. “… He is undoubtedly the greatest role model for the kids in our gym, and for the people of Ireland of all ages.”

Dinisiplina ng Nevada State Athletic Commission sina McGregor at Nate Diaz bunsod nang kaguluhang nilikha nila sa press conference noong Agosto 17. Pinatawan si McGregor ng US$150,000 fine at 50 oras ng community service, ngunit naibaba ito kalaunan sa 25 oras at US$25,000 fine.
