Paparada ang Petron sa panibagong taon ng Philippine Superliga (PSL) bitbit ang matinding pagkauhaw at intensidad na muling magtagumpay.

Sinabi ni Tri-Activ Spikers Coach George Pascua na asam nilang makamit muli ang korona sa pangunahing inter-club women’s volleyball league sa bansa na magbubukas sa Huwebes sa The Arena sa San Juan.

Sinabi ni Pascua, dating miyembro ng national team at arkitekto sa pagwawagi ng Petron sa 2014 Grand Prix at 2015 All-Filipino Cup, na may kalalagyan ang kanilang karibal sa bagong player na halos kasingtatag din ng mga nawalang sina Dindin Manabat, Fille Cayetano, Rachel Anne Daquis, at Aby Marano.

Inihayag ni Pascua ang pagkakakuha sa beterano na si Aiza Maizo-Pontillas ng University of Santo Tomas at Bang Pineda ng Adamson University, pati na ang papaangat na sina Christine Joy Rosario at Angel Legacion ng Arellano University pati sina Cherry Rose Nunag ng La Salle-Dasmarinas.

“The firepower, the solid defense and the chemistry are still there. It’s still basically the same strong and hungry team,” pahayag ni Pascua.

“I’m also excited about the development of Ces (Molina). After winning an award (2nd Best Opposite Spiker) last conference, she continues to work hard and strive for greatness. With that kind of work ethic, I’m pretty sure that she will go far. And this conference could be the start,” aniya.
